Harvest basil leaves from the garden, using a mix of small and large leaves.

Toast 1/4 cup walnuts in a pan to enhance flavor.

Add about 2 cups of basil leaves into the blender.

Add 1/4 cup of toasted walnuts and 1/4 cup of pine nuts into the blender.

Add 6 cloves of garlic into the blender.

Add Parmesan cheese into the blender.

Pour olive oil into the blender while mixing.

Turn the blender on low and blend until combined, checking the consistency.

Add salt to taste and blend again until smooth.

Show the blended pesto to the camera and discuss its uses.
