Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried thyme

Instructions

  1. 1In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, and Dijon mustard.
  2. 2Add the minced garlic, black pepper, salt, oregano, and thyme to the bowl.
  3. 3Whisk all the ingredients together until well combined.
  4. 4Taste the marinade and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more salt or honey to taste.
  5. 5Transfer the marinade to a sealable plastic bag or a glass container.
  6. 6Add your choice of protein (chicken, beef, tofu, etc.) to the marinade, ensuring it is well coated.
  7. 7Seal the bag or container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours for more flavor.
  8. 8Remove the protein from the marinade and discard the marinade before cooking.
  9. 9Cook the protein using your preferred method (grilling, baking, etc.).
  10. 10Serve and enjoy your marinated dish.
