Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, mix marzipan, flour, sugar, and baking powder until combined.
Add softened butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract; mix until smooth.
Knead the dough on a floured surface until elastic, about 5 minutes.
Divide the dough into small pieces and roll into ropes about 1/2 inch thick.
Shape the ropes into rings and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the preheated oven until golden, about 12-15 minutes.
Let the rings cool completely on a wire rack.
Prepare the icing by mixing powdered sugar with a little water until smooth.
Add food coloring to the icing if desired, and drizzle over the cooled rings.
Decorate with chopped pistachios, chocolate, and candied fruit.
Allow the icing to set before serving.
