Preheat the oven.
Prepare the bell peppers by cutting off the tops and removing the seeds.
Cook the white rice in boiling water until tender, then drain and set aside.
Heat sunflower oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté chopped onions until translucent.
In a large bowl, combine minced pork meat, cooked rice, sautéed onions, tomato paste or juice, salt, pepper, thyme, dill, and sweet paprika.
Mix the filling until well combined.
Stuff each bell pepper with the meat and rice mixture, packing it tightly.
Place stuffed peppers upright in a baking dish and add water or tomato juice to cover the bottom.
Top each pepper with a bay leaf.
Cover the dish with foil and bake until the peppers are tender.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional time until the peppers are fully cooked.
