Fill a small saucepan with water and bring it to a boil.

Add 4 Lipton family size tea bags to the boiling water.

Turn off the heat and let the tea bags steep for 10-15 minutes, depending on desired strength.

Pour the tea into a gallon-sized jug or container, squeezing the tea bags to extract all the flavor.

Add 2 cups of sugar or 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of stevia to the tea and stir until dissolved.

Add 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda to the tea and stir to combine.

Fill the jug the rest of the way with cold water and stir again.

Serve the tea over ice in a glass and garnish with lemon slices if desired.
