Green tea offers health benefits and a lighter flavor.

In a gallon-sized jug, add 4 cups of cold water.

Bring water to a boil in a pot.

Add 3 family size tea bags and 3/4 cup of granulated sugar to the boiling water.

Stir the mixture for a minute and let it steep for about 5-6 minutes.

After steeping, keep the tea bags in the pot and run cold water over them to extract more flavor.

Fill the pot with an additional 3-4 cups of cold water and stir to mix.

Pour the sweet tea into the gallon-sized jug until full.

Serve the tea over ice in a glass and optionally add lemon.
