parmesan cheese

🥗Healthier: nutritional yeast

💰Cheaper: grated mozzarella

Nutritional yeast adds a cheesy flavor with fewer calories.

olive oil

🥗Healthier: avocado oil

💰Cheaper: vegetable oil

Vegetable oil is often less expensive and has a neutral flavor.

1

Fillet the chicken breast into three pieces and cut into small rectangular shapes.

2

Pour a little oil and sugar into the pot and heat until the sugar melts and turns brown.

3

Season the chicken with adobo, oregano, lemon, garlic, and sazon liquido, letting it sit for at least half an hour.

4

Add the chicken to the pot, draining as much liquid as possible but reserving it.

5

Brown the chicken on all sides, covering it and cooking on high for about five minutes until the liquid dries out.

6

Check and turn the chicken to ensure it browns evenly.

7

Add tomato paste (about 3-4 tablespoons) and a little water if the paste is too thick.

8

Add 3-4 tablespoons of ragu sauce and cover, lowering the heat to medium low.

9

Check the sauce in 5-10 minutes, adding more water if it thickens or dries out.

10

Add parmesan cheese (natural or powdered) and mix well.

11

When almost ready to serve, add mozzarella cheese cut into small squares on top of the chicken, covering to let it melt.
