1 lb assorted meat
4 oz stockfish
4 oz dried fish
1 large onions
2 seasoning cubes
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup palm oil
2 tablespoons ground crayfish
1 teaspoon pepper
2 cups shredded vegetables (bitter leaf, scent leaf)
4 cups water

Grind the ogbono seeds and set aside.

Season the assorted meat, stockfish, and dried fish with onions, stock cube, and salt to taste, and cook until tender, adding little water as needed.

Take out the fish when it's done and leave the meat to cook for 10 more minutes.

Heat the palm oil and then remove from heat.

Add the ground ogbono to the palm oil and dissolve completely.

Put back on heat and add some of the meat stock or a little water, simmer until it begins to thicken. If it's too thick, add more water or meat.

Add the assorted meat and fish, ground crayfish, pepper, stock cube, and salt to taste, and mix thoroughly.

Leave to boil for about 10 minutes.

Add the shredded vegetables and simmer for two more minutes.

Remove from heat and the soup is ready to serve with pounded yam, amala, or any swallow of choice.
