1 cup clam juice
1 cup milk
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups diced potatoes
1 can Southwest corn
1 tablespoon butter
seasoning of onion powder
seasoning of garlic powder
seasoning of cayenne salt

Chop down celery, onions, and garlic; these are the base for the soup called 'mirepoix'.

Rough chop the carrots into thin pieces.

In a pan with bacon grease, add 1 tablespoon of butter.

Add the chopped vegetables (celery, onions, carrots) to the pan with bacon fat and butter.

Season the veggies with onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne salt, and black pepper.
