1 can minced clams
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
hot sauce (to taste)
1 tablespoon finely minced onion
1-2 tablespoons sour cream
2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

Place 8 ounces of cream cheese at room temperature in a bowl and mix it until softened.

Open the can of minced clams, pour off the juice, and reserve the juice.

Add the minced clams to the bowl and toss them with 2 teaspoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Add 1/2 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, a squirt or two of hot sauce, and 1 tablespoon of finely minced onion to the cream cheese mixture.

Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly, using an electric mixer or by hand.

Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning with more garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, or hot sauce as needed.

Add the reserved clam juice to the mixture, adjusting the amount based on desired consistency for crackers or chips.

Transfer the dip to a bowl, cover it, and refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours before serving.
