4 loaves of pita bread
1 pound of ground beef
1 large onion, grated
a handful of parsley, chopped
2 garlic cloves
2 teaspoons of salt
1 teaspoon of Old Spice
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg (optional)
1 tablespoon of jalapeno peppers (added at the end)
1/4 cup of water
2 tablespoons of water (added during cooking)

Wear gloves for handling the meat.

Add grated onion to the ground beef.

Press garlic and add it to the meat.

Add chopped parsley and spices to the meat and mix thoroughly.

Cut a small opening in the side of each pita bread to stuff with meat.

Preheat a cast iron frying pan on high heat.

Take a handful of meat and spread it inside the pita bread, pressing it down.

Fry the first pita on high heat for a few minutes, then reduce to medium-low.

After 3 minutes, flip the pita over to cook the other side.

Add a few drops of water to the pan after flipping to keep the meat juicy, then cover the pan.

Cook for a total of 7 minutes, flipping occasionally, until the bread is crispy and the meat reaches 145°F.

Cut the cooked pita open to serve.
