Irish Wake Cake, traditionally served at funerals, symbolizes the celebration of life and remembrance. This rich, fruit-filled cake is often enjoyed with tea and reflects the Irish custom of sharing food during gatherings. Today, variations abound, with many enjoying it year-round, especially around Halloween as Barmbrack, which may also contain hidden charms for fortune-telling.
