Meatball Sliders

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion diced
2 large garlic cloves diced
2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
1 egg
⅓ cup bread crumbs
¼ cup mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp basil fresh or dried
1 tsp dried oregano
1 ½ tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp basil dried or fresh
1 tbsp dried oregano

28 oz can tomato sauce
2-3 tbsp vegetable oil
Sweet Hawaiian Rolls
Provolone Cheese
2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
1 tbsp Fresh parsley
¼-⅓ tsp garlic salt

In a bowl, combine ground beef, diced onion, diced garlic, chopped parsley, egg, bread crumbs, mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, basil, oregano, and Italian seasoning. Mix well to form meatballs.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the meatballs until browned on all sides.

In a separate pot, combine tomato sauce, sugar, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes.

Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the sauce and let them simmer together.

Prepare the Sweet Hawaiian Rolls by slicing them in half and placing them on a baking sheet.

Place a meatball on each roll, top with provolone cheese, and brush the tops with melted butter and garlic salt.

Bake in the oven until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden brown.
