Add half of the grated butter to 1 lb of chilled all-purpose flour.

4

Mix in 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, salt to taste, and 1.5 tablespoons of egg powder.

5

Add icy cold water gradually until the dough comes together, using as little as possible.

6

Wrap the dough tightly and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.

7

Dust the work surface and rolling pin with flour.

9

Spread half of the remaining grated butter in the middle of the rectangle and fold the dough over it.

10

Repeat the folding and rolling process with the remaining butter to create layers.

11

Wrap the dough and chill again in the fridge.

Dice half a scotch bonnet pepper, a red onion, half a green bell pepper, and a few cloves of garlic.

13

Add diced carrots and diced Irish potato to the bowl with the veggies.

Debone the chicken thighs and season with salt and pepper.
