Stir in minced garlic and diced onion; sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
Add balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper; mix well.
Continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until sprouts are tender but still bright green.
Remove from heat and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese before serving.
