8 cups water
1-2 tsp wild honey (optional)
1/2 tsp Ceylon cinnamon (optional)

Toast the whole pearl barley in a pan over medium heat until golden brown and fragrant.

Boil 8 cups of water in a large pot.

Add the toasted barley to the boiling water and simmer for about 30 minutes.

Strain the tea into a pitcher, discarding the barley grains.
