1 onion
1 bell pepper
4 cloves garlic

1/2 cup green olives
1/4 cup raisins
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon oregano
1 pound ground beef

Cut the potatoes into small cubes and soak them in cold water for a few minutes to remove excess starch.

Fry the potatoes in oil until golden and soft, then remove them from the pan but keep the oil.

Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the pan with the remaining oil and cook until the onions are translucent.

Add ground beef to the pan and cook until browned, mixing well with the vegetables.

Incorporate the tomato puree into the mixture and stir well.

Add a pinch of salt, oregano, and black pepper to the mixture and stir to combine.

Add a bay leaf to the pan and cover, cooking for about 5 minutes to let flavors meld.

Remove the bay leaf and add the fried potatoes, green olives, and raisins to the mixture, stirring to combine.

Cover again for 1-2 minutes to let the flavors meld before serving.
