Boil the potatoes in their skins with plenty of salt.
Boil 9 eggs (more or less depending on preference).
Dice the bacon and slice the sausage.
Pour two tubs of sour cream into a bowl and thin it out with water. Add salt and garlic or garlic powder to taste.
Set the sour cream mixture aside.
Once the potatoes are cooked (check with a fork), pour off the hot water and cool them with cold water for easier peeling.
Peel the potatoes and eggs.
Layer the bottom of a duck roaster with sliced potatoes, bacon, and sausage without frying the bacon first.
Add a layer of sliced eggs, ensuring they are not on top to avoid hardening during baking.
Generously season each layer with salt and add lots of sausage for flavor.
Drizzle each layer with the sour cream mixture, ensuring the dish stays saucy.
Continue layering until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of sour cream on top and a pinch of salt.
Cover the dish with a lid and place it in the oven at 220-230°C (or 180°C for longer cooking).
Bake for 30-40 minutes without cheese to allow flavors to meld and bacon to crisp.
After 30-40 minutes, add cheese slices on top and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the cheese is browned and the dish is ready.
