Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Peel the plantains and cut off the edges.
Make a line from the top to the bottom of the plantains and peel them.
Cut the plantains into halves and then into strips, about four pieces each.
Transfer the plantain strips into a bowl.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the bowl and mix to combine.
Spread the plantain strips in a single layer on a nonstick pan or lined baking tray.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through at 10 minutes.
