Mix warm milk and sugar in a bowl until dissolved.
Sprinkle yeast over the mixture and let sit until foamy, about 5-10 minutes.

Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract to the well.
Mix until a dough forms; knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1-2 hours.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle.
Spread softened butter over two-thirds of the dough, then fold the unbuttered third over the middle, and then fold the remaining third over that.
Roll out the dough again into a rectangle and repeat the folding process two more times.
Wrap the dough in plastic and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out the chilled dough and cut into squares or triangles.
Fill each piece with cream cheese and tutti-frutti; fold or twist as desired.
Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with egg wash.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Cool slightly and drizzle with powdered sugar glaze.
