1

Heat 1.5 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan.

2

Add 1 average-sized finely chopped onion and fry until slightly transparent.

3

Add 700 g of ground beef mixed with pork and cook until it looks like small crumbs.

4

Add 130 g of washed and cleaned rice to the meat mixture.

5

Add 1 average-sized chopped fresh tomato, 50 ml of tomato paste, 1 teaspoon of salt, 3-4 tablespoons of fresh parsley, 1 teaspoon of thyme, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper; mix well.

6

Cook the mixture for 2-3 minutes, then turn off the stove and let the rice absorb the sauce.

7

Put some oil in a deep tray and stuff the peppers with the meat and rice mixture, leaving space for the rice to puff up.

8

Sprinkle a little flour over the stuffed peppers to seal them and arrange them in the tray.

9

Add 1 teaspoon of salt and water to the pan where you fried the mixture, then pour this into the tray with the peppers.

10

Cover the tray with foil and bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes.

11

Remove the foil after 30 minutes of baking.

12

In a bowl, beat 2 eggs, add the juice of half a lemon, and a pinch of salt; mix well.

13

Add 2 tablespoons of flour to the egg mixture and beat until there are no lumps.

14

Add 250 g of Bulgarian yogurt to the egg mixture and beat again.

15

Gradually add about 300 ml of the hot sauce mixture from the peppers to the yogurt mixture while stirring.

16

Put the mixture back in a pot and boil until it gets dense.
