Flaxseed meal is a vegan alternative that binds ingredients.
Add 1 and 1/4 cups of fresh milk to a bowl.
Add 1 tsp of instant yeast to the milk.
Add 1/4 cup of sugar and 1/2 tsp of salt to the bowl.
Add 4 cups of unsalted butter to the mixture.
Add 4 cups of hard flour or bread flour to the bowl.
Mix the ingredients to form a dough.
Knead the dough for 30 minutes.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and add 2 tbsp of unsalted butter.
Knead the dough again until stretchy.
Transfer the dough to a blender and blend for 15 minutes.
Take the dough out and knead it until perfectly kneaded.
Place the dough in a bowl greased with oil and cover it with a napkin.
Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 40 minutes until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and transfer it to a floured surface.
Cut the dough into smaller pieces and shape them into rounds.
Cover the shaped dough and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
Egg wash the dough with an egg and some melted butter.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).
Bake the bread for 30 minutes.
