Sweet Bonda

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup mashed bananas
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 cup water (as needed)
Oil for deep frying

In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, mashed bananas, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cardamom powder.

Gradually add water to the mixture to form a smooth batter. The batter should be thick enough to hold its shape.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.

Once the oil is hot, take small portions of the batter and drop them into the hot oil carefully.

Fry the bondas until they are golden brown on all sides, turning occasionally for even cooking.

Remove the bondas from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Serve hot as a snack or dessert.
