Start by mixing butter and sugar together.
Add one or two eggs at a time to the mixture.
Next, add vanilla extract to the mixture.
In a separate bowl, mix flour and baking powder together.
Combine the flour mixture into the wet mixture and stir until combined.
Preheat the pizzelle maker for about 2 minutes.
Once the pizzelle maker is warm, drop a spoonful of dough into the center of the maker.
Close the lid and cook for about 1 minute, watching for the seam to indicate it's ready.
Carefully remove the cookies from the maker after 1 minute.
Continue cooking the remaining dough, aiming to make about 60 cookies in total.
Decorate the cookies with toppings of your choice, such as chocolate, marshmallows, or fruit like bananas.
Store the cookies in a tight container to keep them fresh for about a month.
