Add cannellini beans, nutritional yeast, cooked sweet potato, soy sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, canola oil, tahini, agave, and yellow bell pepper to a blender.
If the mixture is too thick, add almond milk to help blend.
Blend until everything is well incorporated and finely pureed.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
In a large bowl, add one can of well rinsed and drained black beans.
Add ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, and onion powder to the black beans.
Use a potato masher to mash the black beans, leaving some fragments but mostly mush.
Add quick cooking oats to thicken and stabilize the mixture.
Divide the mixture into four equal segments and pat them into round patties.
Cup one patty in your hand and add about 1 to 2 tablespoons of the cheese sauce in the center.
Carefully slap another patty on top and seal the edges.
Place the patties on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, flipping them halfway through after 10 minutes.
Place the burgers on a sprouted whole wheat bun and add tomato and lettuce if desired.
