1/2 tsp mustard seeds (rai)

1 tsp coriander powder (dhania)
1/2 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
1 tsp salt (or to taste)
1/2 tsp cumin powder (jeera)
2 cloves of grated garlic
2 tbs chopped tinned tomatoes
1-2 green chilies (to taste)
1/4 cup tamarind pulp
1 tsp sugar
1 cup coconut milk
1 cup water

lemon or lime wedges
