After the initial fry, increase the oil temperature to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
Return the previously fried waffle fries to the oil in the same batch sizes and fry for 1 to 1.5 minutes until lightly golden brown.
Remove the fries from the oil and place them on a fresh paper towel-lined plate.
Season the fries with salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings like garlic, paprika, or cayenne.
Serve the waffle fries on a plate with dipping sauces like ketchup, spicy aioli, or tangy cheese sauce.
