Start by preparing lamb and chopping it into pieces.
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent.
Stir in the lamb pieces and cook until browned.
Add turmeric, black pepper, and salt to the pot.
Pour in water and bring to a boil.
Add peas and pinto beans to the pot.
Chop white cabbage and add it to the mixture.
Grate carrots and mix them in as well.
Add minced garlic and lentils to the pot.
Stir everything together and let it simmer.
Add rice to the pot and mix well with the other ingredients.
Cover the pot and let it cook until the rice is tender, about 20-25 minutes.
Once cooked, remove from heat and let it sit covered for a few minutes before serving.
