Cover the wrapped pig with additional layers of leaves or parchment paper for moisture retention.
Preheat the oven to a low temperature, around 250°F (120°C).
Place the wrapped pig in the oven and bake for several hours, until the meat is tender, about 6-8 hours.
Remove the pig from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes before unwrapping.
Serve the pig with the stuffing and garnished with fresh herbs.
