1 package instant yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil

Start with 3/4 cup of room temperature water in a mixing bowl.

Add 1 package of instant yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons) to the water.

Add 1 cup each of all-purpose flour and whole wheat flour.

Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Mix until all ingredients come together.

Let the dough sit for at least 20 minutes and up to 1 hour.

Check the dough; it should stick at the bottom a little but pull away from the sides.

Lightly oil the bottom of the bowl, shape the dough into a ball, and cover it with plastic wrap.

Prepare toppings while the dough rests.

After an hour, dust the work surface with flour and turn out the dough.

Cut the dough in half to make two 9-inch pizzas.
