Heat up a pot and add 2 teaspoons of butter.

Add 1/4 cup chopped yellow onion and 1 stalk chopped celery to the pot; sauté for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

After about 3 minutes, add 1 big clove of grated garlic.

After 5 minutes, add the wild rice blend, the zest of 1 orange, 1/4 cup dried cranberries, 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts, a little salt, and about half a teaspoon of ground black pepper.

Add chicken stock to the pot and bring it up to a boil.

Once boiling, cover the pot, turn the heat down to simmer, and cook for about 20-25 minutes until the water is absorbed, following the packet directions.

After cooking, remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes before serving.
