Zombie Cocktail

Cultural Context

The Zombie Cocktail originated in the 1930s in the United States, crafted by Donn Beach at his tiki bar in Hollywood. This potent drink, with its vibrant colors and tropical flavors, was designed to transport drinkers to a paradise of sunshine and relaxation. Over the years, it has become a staple in tiki culture and is often associated with festive gatherings and parties. Today, variations abound, but the core elements remain a delightful mix of rums and fruit juices, making it a favorite among cocktail enthusiasts.
