Mix glutinous rice flour and rice flour together in a bowl. Add half of the water and mix, then add the rest of the water.

Add granulated sugar and salt to the mixture and mix well.

Cover with clear wrap and heat in the microwave at 600W for 1 and 1/2 minutes, then take it out and mix. Repeat this step, heating the mochi a minute at a time until the mochi has a shine to it and separates from the bowl.

Cut the mochi in half. Coat and knead half of the mochi in soybean powder. Roll out into a square and cut into 4 pieces. Wrap some soybean paste into triangles.

Mix green tea powder with boiled water to make a paste. Knead the green tea paste into the remaining half of the mochi and repeat the previous step.
