  • 1 cup ripe avocados (about 2 medium avocados)

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. 2In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe avocados until smooth and creamy.
  3. 3Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt to the mashed avocados. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  4. 4If using, fold in the dark chocolate chips into the batter.
  5. 5Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  6. 6Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
