Irish Stew | Easy Instant Pot Recipes

Set the Instant Pot to sauté and wait until hot.

Add 2 tablespoons of oil to the pot.

Coat beef cubes with flour, salt, and pepper, then brown them in the Instant Pot.

Remove browned beef from the pot and set aside on a plate.

Add more oil to the pot, then add chopped onion, carrot, and celery.

Sauté the vegetables for about 2 minutes.

Add tomato paste and rosemary to the pot, sauté for another minute.

Return the browned beef to the pot, add beef stock and stout beer, and stir.

Put the lid on the Instant Pot, cancel sauté, and pressure cook on high for 20 minutes.

After cooking, perform a quick release of pressure.

Once the pin drops, carefully remove the lid.

Add chopped potatoes to the pot and stir.

Put the lid back on, seal the pot, and pressure cook for another 10 minutes.

Allow the stew to naturally release pressure before serving.
