Homemade sauce can be lower in sugar and preservatives.

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Remove the membrane from the back of the pork ribs.

In a bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chili powder.

Spread the seasoning mixture over the ribs, pressing it in.

Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the ribs.

Cover the ribs with aluminum foil and bake in the oven for 2 hours.

In a separate bowl, mix together barbecue sauce, minced garlic, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

After 2 hours, remove the foil and coat the ribs heavily with barbecue sauce.

Increase the oven temperature to 460°F and bake the ribs for an additional 10 minutes.

Broil the ribs for about 3 minutes to make them sticky and gooey.
