Recipe Information
Alloco
Quantities are estimated based on standard recipes for your convenience. The actual ingredients used in this video are accurate.
Peel the plantains and cut them into diagonal slices about 1 inch thick.
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
Once the oil is hot, carefully add the plantain slices in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
Fry the plantains for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
Remove the fried plantains from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper while they are still hot.
Serve warm as a snack or side dish.
