Spray a 9x13 casserole dish with baking spray.

Spread 2 cans of cherry pie filling on the bottom of the casserole dish.

Sprinkle 1 box of yellow cake mix evenly over the cherry pie filling without mixing it with eggs.

Melt 1.5 sticks of butter in the microwave.

Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mix.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 45 minutes.

Serve warm, preferably with vanilla bean ice cream.
