In a 3.2 or 3.9 caldero pot, heat about 2 tablespoons of cooking oil over medium low heat.

Add 1 cup of rinsed long-grain rice to the pot and brown for about 5 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently.

Add 1/2 cup of vermicelli noodles to the rice and continue to toast until golden brown.

Add 3 tablespoons of minced bell pepper and 1.5 tablespoons of minced garlic to the pot, sautéing for another 3 to 5 minutes.
