In a large pot with boiling water, add 3 chicken bouillon cubes and 3 smashed cloves of garlic.

Add 2 ribs of celery cut into large pieces and 1 whole red onion split at the top.

Add cilantro and 6 pieces of chicken (3 drumsticks and 3 thighs).

Mix everything and raise the flame to medium high, covering the pot for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, remove the large red onion and celery.

Add 1 large tablespoon of sofrito, potatoes, carrots, and aoyama (pumpkin).

Cover the pot for another 20 minutes on medium high heat.

Taste the broth and add 1 more chicken bouillon cube if needed.

Add 4 coils of noodles to the soup and mix well.

Lower the flame to low and cover the soup for 12 minutes until noodles are tender.

Squeeze 1 lime over the soup and mix well.
