Add 4 cups of flour, measuring one cup at a time.
Add 1.25 teaspoons of salt and 1.5 teaspoons of yeast, keeping them separate until ready to mix.
Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the mixture.
Set the bread maker to the dough setting and adjust it to not cook the bread.
Add 1 cup of dried cherries and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon to the mixture.
Start the bread maker, which will knead the dough for about 1.5 hours.
Once the dough cycle is complete, take the dough out and shape it into a loaf.
Spray a loaf pan with vegetable oil and place the dough inside, spreading it out evenly.
Put the loaf pan in the oven with the light on to allow the dough to rise.
After the dough has risen, bake it in the oven for about 35 minutes at 350°F.
Once baked, let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
