Add 3/4 cup of honey and 1/2 cup of water to the bowl, covering most of the rhubarb.

Check for tenderness after 3 minutes; if still solid, continue microwaving in 2 minute intervals, stirring in between.

Cook until the rhubarb resembles a sauce similar to applesauce, loose and spoonable but not soupy.
