1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, dry yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix until it forms a dough.

2

On a floured surface, knead the dough for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

3

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until it doubles in size.

4

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a baking stone or a heavy baking sheet, place it in the oven to heat up.

5

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 2 equal-sized portions. Roll each portion into a ball and then flatten it into an oval or round shape, about 1/4 inch thick.

6

If using a baking stone or sheet, carefully place the shaped dough onto the hot stone/sheet. You can also bake them on a parchment-lined baking tray. Sprinkle sesame seeds or nigella seeds on top if desired.

7

Bake for about 10-15 minutes or until the bread puffs up and the edges turn golden brown.

8

Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with your favorite dishes.
