Greek yogurt reduces calories while maintaining creaminess

Preheat the oven.

In a bowl, mash 3 ripe bananas until smooth.

In another bowl, mix together 1 cup of brown sugar, 2 eggs, and the mashed bananas until well combined.

In a separate bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tsp of baking soda, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon powder (if using).

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.

Prepare the caramel by melting 4 tbsp of butter in a saucepan, then add 3/4 cup of brown sugar and stir until dissolved.

Pour the caramel mixture into the bottom of a baking pan and layer with sliced banana before adding the batter on top.

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick comes out clean.
