Add 1 tablespoon of sugar to warm water and stir, then cover and set aside.
Measure 4 cups of all-purpose flour into a bowl.
Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and a pinch of salt to the flour and mix well.
Add 2 tablespoons of margarine to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Check the yeast; once frothy, create a well in the flour mixture and gradually add the yeast.
Mix the yeast into the flour mixture with a spatula, adding warm water gradually until desired texture is reached.
Knead the dough by hand until it reaches the right consistency, about 30 minutes.
Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, punch down the dough to release air and knead again briefly.
Divide the dough into smaller pieces and shape them as desired.
Place shaped dough into a baking tray, cover, and let rise for 15 minutes.
Preheat the oven and bake the bread until done.
