Chicken and Pea Princessa

1 medium leek
1 sweet red pepper
chicken fillet
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
frozen peas
1/2 cup hot water
3 tablespoons cream

Chop one medium sized leek into long thin strips.

Cut the red pepper into thin strips of a similar size to the leeks.

Cut the chicken fillet into thin strips about 6 to 8 centimeters long.

Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan.

Saute the chicken over high heat for 5 to 6 minutes until it becomes browned.

Add the chopped leeks and stir for a minute.

Add the red pepper and stir for another minute.

Add the frozen peas and saute at high heat for 1 minute.

Add 2 tablespoons of flour and saute for another minute.

Add 1/2 cup of hot water and cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes.

Add 3 tablespoons of cream.

Remove from the heat and serve.
