Recipe Information
Seared Tuna
Quantities are estimated based on standard recipes for your convenience. The actual ingredients used in this video are accurate.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
Season the tuna steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Once the oil is hot, carefully place the tuna steaks in the skillet.
Sear the tuna for about 1-2 minutes on each side for rare, or longer if desired.
If using, sprinkle sesame seeds on the tuna during the last minute of cooking.
Remove the tuna from the skillet and let it rest for a minute before slicing.
Serve with soy sauce and wasabi on the side, if desired.
