2 large potatoes
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup milk

Peel and boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

Drain the potatoes and let them cool slightly before mashing them in a bowl.

Add the flour, salt, and baking powder to the mashed potatoes and mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for a few minutes until smooth.

Divide the dough into two equal portions and shape each into a flat round about 1/2 inch thick.

Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tbsp of butter.

Cook each potato farl for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown, adding more butter as needed.
