Shred red cabbage and put it in a pot with 1 liter of water, 1 tablespoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of vinegar.

For red dye, chop up 4 beetroot and add to another liter of water with 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of vinegar.

For yellow dye, add 1 liter of water, 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, and 4-5 tablespoons of turmeric powder.

Heat all dye mixtures on high heat and boil for about 30 minutes.

Hard boil the eggs first.

While the eggs are still warm, use a nail attached to a pencil to apply melted beeswax onto the eggs to create patterns.

Strain the dye before putting the eggs in it.

Submerge the eggs in the dye and leave them overnight or for a day for desired color intensity.

To remove the wax, hold the egg above a candle to melt it off and wipe with a tissue.
