Bistec con Papas

We need half a kilo of bistec, which can be beef or pork, five potatoes, one onion, and three jalapeños.

Start by chopping the vegetables: cut the jalapeños, onion, and leave the potatoes with skin for fiber.

Cut the potatoes into halves and then slice them thinly. Cut the bistec into pieces of your desired size.

Heat a pot with a generous amount of oil until it's hot.

Add the bistec to the pot and let it brown for about 5 minutes, optionally covering it to cook faster.

After 5 minutes, check the bistec; it should be nicely browned. Season with a bit of salt.

Add the sliced potatoes to the pot, as they take longer to cook, about 20-25 minutes.
